THE NEW JAPAN 01
THE NEW JAPAN is a new magazine dedicated to featuring the diverse regional cultures found throughout Japan. The "NEW" in our title represents the "new discoveries" unique to every reader. Through this publication, our editorial team hopes to inspire readers to step out and experience these locales firsthand.
The theme of our inaugural issue is the Yaeyama Islands, an archipelago including Ishigaki and Iriomote. We offer a multifaceted look at the charms of Yaeyama—from its majestic nature and time-honored crafts to the local soul food cherished by the community.
